My consumption of books has been drastically curtailed by the need for windsurfing, sailing, working, playing with Daire & Kate (and feeding and amusing them!), visiting people & places and many more busy busy stuff. And of course the chance that they will be remembered and put up here is astoundingly low.

Terry Pratchett: Small Gods again

15/03/1999 Blight by D.H. Melham. An enjoyable read, it has a strange feeling about it which I liked. The atmosphere gave an aged feeling to the home and I was taken by the mystery of the setting, probably not at all the intent of the author but strangely enjoyable. This location, the strange garden creatures and the mix of indifference and passion result in a gently compelling read.
